This part is dedicated to extreme types of sports. To this category one can refer alpinism, rock climbing, tourism, ice climbing and also air types of sports.
The formation of the team has begun since February 2000. Necessary equipment and training stock for lessons were bought. However, for that period only training lessons were organized for practicing the ascent and descent technique, self-insurance, the first medical aid to the injured person.
Organization of various expeditions, participation in competitions and workshops was planned. However, lessons were postponed because of the problems which arose at that period.
The current team consists of mainly the students of our university. The team was formed in 2008. Trainings are held 3 times a week, on the rocks of Nardaran and in Razin settlement. Special attention is paid to the techniques of safety. The team of doctors is constantly present at the trainings and competitions for administering the first medical aid.
Sportsmen participate in competitions. Western University totally provides the team with all necessary stock.
